La Jolla Cove or Pacific Cove is a cove and a beach in La Jolla, San Diego, California. It is a very small beach very popular for swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling. However, since La Jolla Cove is within the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park (a marine refuge area), swimming devices such as surfboards, boogie boards, and even inflatable mattresses are not permitted, and this rule is carefully enforced by the lifeguards, specifically in the part of the area defined as the Ecological Reserve.
The La Jolla Cove is home to the annual La Jolla Cove Rough Water swim. This is one of the oldest ocean swims in the world.
No fishing or collecting of marine invertebrates, (even taking dead specimens or seashells) is allowed. All sea animals in this area are protected by law, including the orange Garibaldi fish, which are unusually common in the Cove.
Every weekend but also every afternoon the locals as well as the tourists like to spend time at the Cove, strolling by the ocean and enjoying the natural sea views and surroundings. The best attraction is to watch the seals sunbathing on the rocks.

Καλησπέρα Ελένη,
πολύ όμορφη και εντυπωσιακή η θέα της ακτογραμμής και του ωκεανού. Μια θαυμάσια σύνθεση με βάθος, δυναμισμό και κίνηση, εξαιρετικές υφές και βαθιά χρώματα, όλα σε ενδιαφέρουσες δόσεις συμφωνίας και αντιθέσεων. Μου αρέσει πολύ η ατμόσφαιρα, το ζεστό φως και ο τρόπος που έχουν εγγραφεί στο κάδρο οι τόνοι του λευκού. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

la tua serie di foto sulla California ogni giorno si arricchisce di nuove belle foto come quella di oggi che ci aiuta a conoscere località e ambienti sconosciuti.
Molto bello il contrasto tra il mare movimentato dalle onde oceaniche, le rocce contro le quali si freangono le onde e il cielo perennemente azzurro . Peccato che nella foto non sia possibile vedere la fauna che descrivi molto bene nella tua nota.
In ogni caso, complimenti per la nitidezza e la bella composizione.

Ελένη γεια σου,
η βραχώδης παραλιακή ακτογραμμή φτάνει στο απομεμακρυσμένο σημείο στο αριστερό του κάδρου. Ενδιάμεσα βλέπω να υπάρχουν μικροί κολπίσκοι και μικροσκοπικοί κολυμβητές ν' απολαμβάνουν τις χαρές της θάλασσας.Το μέρος φαίνεται ενδιαφέρον αλλά σε όποια παραλία και να πήγα σε ΗΠΑ και Καναδά δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με τις αντίστοιχες Ελληνικές.

The rocky shoreline is absolutely stunning in view here, Eleni, your point of view was well chosen.
The palm tree on right is a good addition, while we mostly see how the ocean-waves kept pounding for millions of years to ctreat this marvelous sight.
Clarity and light well applied.

This is a breathtaking and rich for such scenic spot taken from the best viewpoint, beautifully coloured, contrast and nicely detailed image and simply irresistible. I love the enormous depth and perspective lending to an overall discrete & delightful photographic impact. The deep blue water and sky add lots of drama with the movement and rhythm of the spray adds so much more to the scene. You have captured this front so beautifully, truly a delight to view, Congrats.
