Sunset w/ 800mm Photo

Photographer’s Note

From the same location as one I posted a few days ago but taken a few minutes later as the sun sank a little lower. I used a 2x teleconverter with my 400mm f 2.8 lens. Virtually no cropping done here left and right, but obviously clipped some off the top and bottom. I also removed a few electric lines near the bottom.

Great use of a telephoto lens. Composition and color are both excellent. The framing also compliments the photo. Great work.

I like this one more. The sun seems so huge and the haze makes it seem so hot it makes my eyes water just looking at it. Cool shot.

This is a fantastic shot! You must have been some distance away! Not keen on the frame though, well to be more specific, the red line. :) Rgds, Leilani
