Santa Arrives In Style! Photo

Photographer’s Note

Winter arrives in California, Christmas approaching soon. You can imagine my surprise when I encountered Santa Claus riding through downtown San Anselmo on a mountain bicycle attired in the most fashionable riding gear. Of course, I'm not certain it was Santa Claus, but who could doubt it? Look at the classic beard and moustache! There isn't much belly there, but if he finally took his doctor's advice seriously by getting on a bicycle, who can doubt that he would shape up?

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you've been good this year and that Santa will treat you well... a new lens perhaps? ;-)

Funny capture of this MTB-ing SantaClaus. Very well seen. I like his slightly over the top outfit (maybe he is a Mondriaan fan?) and his expression too. He seems to be panting -Maybe Rudolf should help him out. Merry Xmas too Curtis, and thanx for being there! We'll spend Xmas again in the Sotavento. Can't wait! Breakfasts in the sun, endless stream of bicas, flowwwwwwwww on the Barril beach.
