Photographer’s Note
I'm joking, of course, but this shot was simply too much fun to pass up. The fellow sitting at table in this coffee shop surrounded by three lovely young women works at the local camera shop, Seawood Photo. In fact, he is the man who recommended the lens I was using as I took this photo... ;-)
(If you look closely at the photo on the website you will see it is this very fellow!)
Although he is relatively young, perhaps in his early twenties, he is very knowledgeable about cameras and lenses. My friend and I spent a lovely afternoon with him chatting about things photographic. I've also noticed since I'm in the neighborhood on occasion, that he has an abundance of young women who seek him out at the camera shop, whether for advice on which digital camera to purchase I've no idea.
After I took this photo I dropped into Seawood and got a card with their email address. I sent them this photo suggesting a harem is forming around their star salesman. I've yet to hear back from them but I thought the members of this corner of cyberspace might appreciate a good laugh. Enjoy!

Good evening Curtis, Difficult light, you handled it very well, as the light is so harsh! the people in the shop are very well visible, and the shade that divides fis face in tow, is not very strong. I like best the reflection of that girl, she is making her own triptych this way, her back and her face in reflection. And the dog, watching you is good. Well, he's got it all, knows everything about camera's, can show relevant things on a laptop, rides a cool moutain bike., He has insured himself of a few girls around...
Yet I will not swap ;-)

Hello Curtis,
a nice story going with this moment on your picture. The fellow really has a smile on his face, perhaps of happiness being surrounded by these girls ? But, be carefull... the little dog behind the bike is watching you !
regards,
Luc.

Hi, Curtis.
I love the story behind this photo.
And I love the story in this photo.
that's a lucky guy, looks like he has a status of a movie star in Anselmo. Your daily life pictures are great even without any note and the note you wrote is great. Thanks for this contribution.
