Hi Joop. Another exceptionally good image - particularly at ISO 3200!! It really looks like ISO 400 film and yet there is still incredible tones and detail in the sofa and shadow areas. I've got to get me one of these babies - or maybe a D3 ;^))

hallo Joop,

Knap werk met lichtinval. Ik vind de grove korrel ook prachtig hier, geeft de juiste sfeer. Bijna minimalistisch. Ik zit te denken dat het ook heel mooi zou zijn als je het gewoon vooraan had genomen, heel symmetrisch, misschien een saaiere compositie maar met dit speciaal licht en de groffe korrel zou het toch een heel knap effect geven...

you've produced a strong yet delicate composition. It is somehow reminiscent of Hooper's and Brouws' work with a touch of Robert Admas (I love all these artists). The graininess suits the melancholic mood very well. Congratulations
