Photographer's Note
Union Pacific Railroad celebrated their 150th Anniversary in Old Sacramento. In this view - Mayor Kevin Johnson, President Lincoln, and entourage.
Mayor Johnson is an ex-all star Kings basketball player, and currently leading the battle to keep our team in Sacramento rather than a rich businessman's attempt to move them to Seattle, Washington.
Union Pacific RR built Ameica's Transcontinental rail tracks from Missouri heading west to connect with the east construction by Central Pacific RR in 1863.

Hi Ray,
Not that I've ever met the man, but goodness, if anyone looks like abe Lincoln, it's that guy on the left. I have seen the latest movie, and even he didn't look as much like Nicole as this guy. Really cool capture of both him and the folk beside him who obviously also have a very great appreciation for the moment. Great shot.
Cheers

Wow, that ole Licoln is aging well. Actually, can't wait for the Nat Geo doco on Lincoln this week, I've been hanging out for it. A good group of people. The guy on the left has been cut in half, wish I was him, might make me look skinnier! The Mayor looks really familliar: he's not famous sports guy turned poli has he?
Cheers, enjoy your day
