Photographer's Note
The green wagons in the background, are replicas of overland wagons used during the westward treks of the 19th century. All of the wagons in Old Sac today are available for rides to the public.
The buildings are historically registered, and many are restaurants, stores and hotels for todays' public.

This is great, Ray - I've never seen Sacramento's hidtoric area (or the rest of Sacramento, for that matter) and it's great to see how faithfully much of it has been restored. The addition of this fine replica stagecoach is great; I see some more covered wagons in the BG as well.
I might suggest bumping up the contrast a bit, and perhaps trying to manage the light in the clouded sky somewhat, but as a recording of this historical scene, it works nicely.

Hi Ray
I agree with Andrew, the stagecoach is brilliant, but the buildings behind are equally fascinating for me. When I see this kind of scene, I always have the idea in the back of my mind that they are not real, and are only fronts with nothing behind, I guess that's from seeing too many westerns. They are beautiful structures and really well kep, it's great to see they are still in use today, and suit the mood of the coaches so well. Beautiful light and colours to.
All the best

Hello Ray,
I like the replicas of overland wagons used in background, this is the first time that I see this type of carriage.
Truly a movie out of the old time, time of John Wayne.
Composition and presentation make these picture attractive.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,
John.
