Photographer’s Note
Sacramento's I Street Bridge crosses the Sacramento River north of the Tower Bridge. It is a two level Swing Truss bridge, with railroad tracks on the lower level and the auto and pedestrian level above it.
Built by the American Bridge Co. for the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1911 this bridge is still used daily by motorists and Amtrak.
