Photographer’s Note

The cloud formation in the sky looked fiery though white in color. The tree in the middle lost its foliage though the surrounding trees are fine.

Gorgeous sky and nice vertical composition emphasizing it. The lower part of the image is overexposed.

I'm a sucker for great skies and in a state with an abundance of superlative landscape, it's nice to see the focus above the horizon. It's almost like flames leaping into the midday blue. Fantastic.

Beautiful "sky fire indded", and I love the blue of the sky, did you edit it in any way? This vertical, wide angle view was a good choice. Maybe the white lines could have been cut out.
