Photographer’s Note
At Bethelehem A.D., a Christmas re-enactment in Redwood City. From the website Travel 8000 miles and 2000 years to ancient Bethlehem.
BETHLEHEM A.D.is a living re-creation of the village of Bethlehem on the night of the first Christmas. The public can walk or drive through the village, interacting with the colorfully-costumed townspeople who are cooking over fires, creating pottery, buying and selling wares in the market place, and giving account of themselves to the census taker. http://www.bethlehemad.com
