a wonderful sunset tonight at the beach. Lots of fishermen there tonight so I had to go around the rocks and hang out to the right of the big rock (Pt. Mugu). I love how the sun illuminated the water on the sand with those marvelous colors.
This is a great beach because it has a long strand of sand for walking on.
The shooting range is to the far right of this beach and that little rock way out in the ocean is actually Anacapa Island, part of the Channel Islands National Park.

Excellent sunset shot. Very tranquil and magical setting which have captured well. Good composition, colors and clarity. Nicely managed exposure to get the blurry sea.

Lovely soft colours in this picture. It was well worth you moving away from the fishermen to get this beautiful seascape.

F/16 and 2 seconds is exactly the perfect adjustment with tripod.
On these way get we excellent sharpness depth picture.
I want you give, an advice on these picture, try 1/3 sky and 2/3 sea and rocks, your composition shall are a lot better.

Wide angle seaside sunset well executed. The sky has lovely tones that are also reflected on wet sand. Mossy rocks are well chosen foreground details.

Excellent beach front sunset scene, with the rocks imbedded in the sand, wispy waves, the sun glow radiating, then the distant Anacapa on the horizon.
I usually miss sunset here, because I have to return to Camarillo for family dinners. I also enjoy the fleets of brown pelicans frequently gliding by like swept-wing planes.

I love the long expsoure effect giving silky water and soft shapes in the clouds. The golden reflection on the beach is particularly lovely. Great use of the rocks in the FG.
Kind Regards, Ann

Beautiful shot, I like the atmosphere and the way you “froze” the sea and the beach and the general calmness that the picture expresses. TSF

A delightful sunset scenery. Although setting the horizon right in the middle is generally not recommended, it works well here. The reflections on the wet sand are beautiful and I love the textures of the rock, whereas the clouds create a nice "open" sky. A tighter crop would not give the same feel, so well done on being daring!
All the best,
