Photographer’s Note

In the Norton Simon Museum there was an exibition about art and transparencies, so there were glass and plexilglass with light. Some objects were really fascinating.
I tried to compose a picture there.I hope you like it.

This is really good. I think your shot is far more artistic than the rather questionable piece of modern art in this gallery, even if the bright blue colour is quite attractive. I like images that show movement and your inclusion of the moving figure makes this shot far more interesting to look at than it would have been otherwise.

Hi Livia,

I like the effect here. The blurred girl works fine in my oppinion and the blue disk on the center catch the attention imediatly. Just not sure about all the empty space around.

A striking photo of this artwork, Livia, you pretty much made it into an artwork yourself. The strong luminosity of the blue circular thing and the motion-blurred visitor blend into a simple yet graphically compelling total.

This is simply amazing, one of your best posts in recent times, if I may say so. The blur effect against the constant blue is mesmerising. I agree with Ben, this shot of yours can itself be categorised as a work of art.

Bella, bella, bella.
La inserisco tra le favorite: colore, composizione, metacomunicazione... tutto molto "stimolante".
Qualche maniaco incurabile avrebbe aperto un workshop per tagliare quella lievissima imperfezione in alto a destra, ma questi europei centrali non sanno che il perfezionismo è la virtù dei mediocri...

A top class picture for me, and exacly what I am after when I visit Museums. You give me the idee to post some from Moma or Tate Modern. Two things of course give an artistic value to the image. The well place and blurred person, and the perfect blue circle so sharp. I wonder if it would be possible to combine exhibition of ONLY this kind of pictures ına day !

Bellissima questa composizione e di grande effetto visivo. Lo sarebbe stato di per se il plexi retroilluminato. La persona in movimento poi ti ha dato un tocco di classe, grazie alla sfuocatura.
