Photographer's Note

There are warning signs on most of the beaches in Pacific Grove warning against trecherous water conditions. This wave is one of those i'd think. :)

Scary scene. The details are good and it feels like the water is coming this way.
I like the top part where the water sprays into the air.

Hi Tom,
That wave surely looks fierce, no wonder there are warning signs. Well captured. I like the way we can see just a bit of rock to the left. Thanks for sharing.

Of all your photos I have viewed, this is the best. You have caught the furious nature of the sea.

The photo reminds me of a poem by Walt Whitman. "Behold the sea itself and its limitless heaving breast....Of dashing spray, and the winds piping and blowing."

I purpose that the next picture you take of the sea should be at night during a full moon you could entitle it " On the Beach at Night Alone"
