Photographer's Note

The Bill of Rights schooner ia a replica of a 19th century schooner, built in Maine, 1971, and with the distinction of being the lead Tall Ship through New York Harbor during the 1976 Bicentennical Celebration.

Since then she spent time in San Pedro Harbor, Los Angeles. And when I took this image, she sailed students during the weekdays and tourists on weekends out of Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard, California.
Currently she is in San Diego County. She also continues to participate in Tall Ship and pirate festivals.

The Bill of Rights is 136 feet long with a beam of 25 feet. Her mainmast is 115 above the deck and her tonnage is 160 gross.
