Photographer’s Note

Libby Park is on the main street of Ojai. My previous picture were taken from inside the main arch of this picture.

The tower on the right hand side is the post office of Ojai.

I like this architecture it fits the laid back mood of California. The plarizer really does help a lot with the light.

A good show of strong geometric shapes in this one too. I cant imagine that tower being a postoffice...! Anyways, nice shot with good sharpness. Looks like a really sunny day in Ojai..!

hi wes,i can see that we both are a kind of polarizer-freaks :-))
i like the effect it makes, particularly emphesizing white of the buildings against the deep blue sky,it alwaysworks for me;

I like here this perspective of archways that leads my eye to the church tower, the architecture is beautiful, colors are nice, I wish there were no cars... I often have some on my photos too, convenient but heavily polluting transportation mode !

Nous comprenons mieux la photographie publiée précédemment.
Bien vu cet effet de diagonale qui nous même à cette tour "clocher" je suppose (qui sert de bureau de poste).
Une architecture qui ne manque pas de charme.

Hi Wes. This looks kinda familiar, good to see an alternate angle in this photo. The deep DOF certainly works well for this streetside view, and the panoramic cropping was pretty much a natural choice for the presentation.

Hi Wes. Nicely done. I did get a kick out of the workshop and the lights Didi put in. This looks like a very beautiful and refined area. The only thing this shot is lacking is a stronger foreground, which can be tough with this shot, I'm sure. Well done Mr. USC!
