This photo was taken in Nicasio, Marin County. The church is very bright compared to the rest of the photo. I couldn't darken it since the rest of the photo was already very dark.

Hi Howard,
I actually don't mind how bright the church is; it is very bright, but not overexposed...just my opinion. The sharpness in the image and the saturation in the roof and sky are excellent. I have done a quick WS for you to show you how you can make parts of the image brighter while leaving others untouched...if you have access to Photoshop. I hope you'll find it useful. TFS,

Howard,
I like the colors and DOF in this photo. The church is a little overexposed, but I don't believe it hurts the photo any. You have nice sharpness and good DOF with excellent color saturation.

Hi Howard,
POV & DOF are so nice here. The bright white wall & red roof compensates the blue sky so well. I like the roof line which leads eyes to the hill slope on the right. Simple & beautiful.
