Photographer’s Note

Taken at one of the many vineyards in Napa Valley, I pulled over on the side of the road for this picture. I wanted to represent how well groomed the vineyards were and how perfectly spaced the rows of grapes are.

Just before this picture I had a flight of 7 wines (I don't really know much about wine tasting, so the server was kind enough to brief me on what to look for in a wine and tasting technique).

This is a beautiful area, I will return

In the workshop I posted an uncropped version of the photo. I am not sure which I prefer.

Hi Alan,
Very nice shot of the vineyard fields. Very good colours but the contrast could be better. It remembers my father's farm.

This could be somewhere near where I was born (southern Portugal). It's interesting that California has some things similar with Southern Europe.
