Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken just after sunset in mid December. Because I didn't have my tripod with me i had to take about ten shots to get one silohuete that was sharp enough to print. The light levels were very low so I made a couple of adustments to saturation and contrast in PSE 3.
This Joshua tree is just off of State Hwy. 14 just outside of Mojave California

Excellent shot. The sky is amazing. Joshua tree is beautiful. Maybe try to crop the picture a bit, the palm frond on the lower left is a little distracting.
