Photographer’s Note
Devil postpile with Infrared. I convert this to B&W using Nikon Capture NX (the 30 day trial version)and resize with photoshop, . I think its a wonderful and easy to used software. too bad nikon charged 100$ for it.
Devil Postpile and Rainbow Falls are some of my favorite places in Eastern Sierra. I just love the feeling standing here in front of this wonder of Nature. Located near the town of Mammoth Lake, you can get in here with you car if you arrive before 7 am. after that, you have to park outside and take the shuttle in. I think the cost is 7$/adult.

Hello Phuoc.
Great B&W and use of the IR. Good POV and composition. A very beautiful and dramatic landscape. Well done.
Regards, Steve.

Hi Phuoc:
My wife and I found ourselves wondering this summer why all the most beautiful areas are called "Devil's" this or "Devil" that. I'd think "Angel" or "Divine" or "Heavenly" would be more fitting. This picture is fabulous. Great use of the infrared filter, and wonderful composition. Nice work.
