Continuing yesterdays post, the Coldwater Creek trail leads to this small glacier carved Emerald Lake. The trail continues on for a little more than a mile to the spectacular wildflower garden at Sky Meadows, and closer to the John Muir Wilderness craggy peaks.
Many of the wildflowers to enjoy here are: gentian, corn lily, elephant heads, wild onion, magenta paintbrush, asters, buttercups, lupines, shooting stars, columbine, tiger lilies, mountain pride, ranger's buttons, larkspur, monkshood, etc., etc...

You took a 50/50 picture but wonderful with all these reflections and mountain in background.
We get truly a very nice composition, with original colours.

The vertical format worked well with the composition! Again, beautiful capture of those mountain scenes with good lighting and sharp details. And, there's still snow in July? Or does the snow ever go away? Well done, tfs.

Good continuing of the Mammoth lake theme, glad to see the nature, without the cars and the wires. Good quality! The colors and sharpness are great! I am not a biologist and I don't know the flowers but anyway thanks for note.
