Fantasy in Malibu Photo

Photographer’s Note

I never saw, neither in Italy, such a mess, so many different shapes of houses! Interesting the way of "climbing" the hill to capture everybody his own ocean view, everybody different. I think that there is no limit to freedom of build a new shape of house in that place, and this may also fascinate!
I thought that Malibu is a famous lovely rich place before visiting it but here I saw lots of hous that could be nice and well done each one, but all together look like a mess - and also not totally geological sure.
Weather was not good, and I will remember that white white sky!

What an ugly suburb. It's amazing that the price of real estate is as much as it is.

YUK.... what an ugly area.

But thanks for sharing. It shows un ugly side to the wealthy lifestyle:P

The modern architecture nice shapes as if something is done to do different. Your photo is well composed dear and depicting all nicely. Thanks for sharing.

Ciao Livia,
per un attimo mi son tornati in mente i fumetti di zio paperone... non so perchè ma queste case mi ricordano i complessi residenziali che faceva costruire per turisti danarosi in atolli sperduti... peccato, io continuo a preferire le case in legno...
La foto però, oltre ad essere originale, mi piace molto per la nitidezza ed i colori. Complimenti

Hi Livia!
So now I do understand the profesional tone of your note. It's hard not to see profesional problems all around. I've got the same rection while traveling and taking photos.
As to the architectonic mess I'm afraid I've seen as bad or even worse here in Poland. People's individualism is dangerous when it mets spareness of space. But your photo is fine in spite of all these.
