Photographer’s Note
In an apparent first, the latest investment forecast from the Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs states that the sky is falling. Goldman analyst Chuck N. Little stated, "We do not feel there is a need for panic because, you know, we at Goldman Sachs are indoors and all, but investors need to be aware of the sky's descent, and invest accordingly." Goldman's current Recommended List includes shares of roof repair companies, along with helmet manufacturers. Goldman foresees problems for airlines in the lowering sky, however, and has a Sell rating.
A spokesman for the Obama administration denied that the sky was falling, or likely to fall. "Certainly, we have seen the sky lowering at an accelerating rate, and some taller folks have had to crouch. But to state that it is falling is simply not justified. Chunks of blue have been found on the ground only in isolated areas. Further, we have created a new bailout program to buy up these chunks and lift them back to higher elevations. Eventually our investment in blue chunks should make money for the American taxpayer. And remember, the sky was already in a precariously low state when we inherited it from the Bush administration."
Senate Republicans opposed any sky bailout. "The sky must be allowed to find its own level in a free market," stated Senator Mitch McConnell. "When the government starts deciding the proper height, that's Socialism."
Insurance giant AIG said it was taking all available precautions against a falling sky, primarily by giving out more bonuses.

Ken
Sometimes a caption just makes a photograph stand out & this certainly does. I love the way you have subverted the subject to become something else.
I wish the subjects had been slightly sharper, but they must have been moving at some lick and this is conveyed slightly
cheers

Hello Ken! This picture has a message which makes it work perfectly. I guess our system is falling apart step by step which scares people a lot and they develop the strangest fears and want to regulate the funniest things by law. At least where I live. I have a friend that works for a huge bank and their human resource department is outsourced to Eastern Europe. Can you imagine how this people must feel when they see a banker's average salary? I would feel cheated (I am cheated too probably if I knew what they earn in detail in the street I work ...) but maybe it is also a way to have a job. Same here (we are too connected anyway as we know meanwhile), the State tries to rescue banks by giving endless amounts of money and at the same time the top management gets their usual boni paid. On the other hand some staff has minimal salaries only risen by boni so ... no answer other than let's invest into cameras so at some point we have pictures we can look back one day :))) Happy Sunday ... once you are up again. Barbara.

Better to laugh than cry (if possible), this is indeed a "humorous" photo and I wonder if you wrote the text or if it is a "copy - paste" note.
Anyway, the photo is fun, the beautiful athletic bodies have a great mimic, light and colours are great.
Compliments and best regards,
Cath.

Hello Ken,
Your clever note goes so well with this shot. IMHO, the picture packs a punch; no matter what some would say, you've got the point across.
Thanks for sharing
