Photographer’s Note
An evening visit by Long Beach revealed this stunning lighthouse, which changes its color every 15 seconds, moving from red, purple, green and this blue which I chose to capture.
Because the pier is well lighted, I reduced exposure (-1) but decreased shutter speed for a 6-second exposure. I rested my camera on a car pillow because I did not have a tripod in this trip :-) Aside from framing and cropping, this photo is largely unedited.
