The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a carrier-capable attack aircraft developed for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. The Skyhawk is a light-weight aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 24,500 pounds (11,100 kg) and has a top speed of more than 600 miles per hour (970 km/h). The aircraft's five hardpoints support a variety of missiles, bombs and other munitions and was capable of delivering nuclear weapons using a low altitude bombing system and a "loft" delivery technique. The A-4 was originally powered by the Wright J65 turbojet engine; from the A-4E onwards, the Pratt & Whitney J52 was used. (From Wikipedia)

Wow, the painting is really impressive, are these colors real camouflage colors? Excellent photo, very well caught

Eye catching candid of these zebra painted Skyhawks, in fine resolution.
I am sorry to miss the military air show this weekend at Fairfield, due to ongoing family illness preventing travel.
Thanks for sharing,

Excellent capture of the two zebra-like fighters, and again complemented by an informative note. The brilliant Nevada light has again enable you to capture the planes perfectly illuminated.

It looks like I've missed many of your excellent photos during my TE absence. But I'll slowly catch up.
I like this superb planes snapshot. You have captured them in golden moment, jut during performing a turn. All in excellent light, nice contrast against blue sky.
Very well done.

Uniquely painted like a Zebra, Eleu, but still can recognize this "wheel horse" as it used to be called. It was the main training jet in the IAF for many years, following a long career as the main bomber in service, and that's after a time in Vietnam under the USAF.
A fine photo, superb camouflage colors in contrast.

Top shooting! A-4 Skyhawk, the pride of RSAF in the early 70s! The zebra stripes make a refreshing change from the usual display. Nice crisp sharp focus being so good, and I like the chosen crop to get a shot of the synchro pair that you've pulled this one off nicely!! The colours are so striking against the sky lifting the brightness of the shot. Great lens work. Congrats

Amazing black&white colouring, excellent composition, I also like this combination with the clear blue sky.
Yesterday I have finished my article for a local magazine about the Riverside Airshow.

a very fine photograph, so simple, dynamic and elegant in its layout. The jets look most attractive and their coordination is superb. They surely make a fascinating sight for viewers watching from the ground and the way you captured them offers us a fascinating scene too. Sharpness, lighting and framing are admirable. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,
