Most folks on TE would have done the "obvious" thing and shown this in color, Agnieszka, and people would have said oh, that's very pretty, and then clicked on to something else, because there would be really nothing new about it. But your choice of a somber B/W creates something much more original, really worth some contemplation! I like the fact there's just enough detail in the hills so that they are not a pure black silhouette. The water takes on a beautiful soft glow in B/W. Nice! Regards, Ken.

But is so much more, is about loneliness and friendship, is about eternity and present.
Is about sea and land, and about us and nature.
Is about contrasts and similarities in the same time.

A fine B&W-job. Also a fine composition with the crest coming from the corner and dividing the picture in surfaces that are well proportioned to each other. strong of-center position for the humans too. And without the humans it would not work at all.
