Picture taken on La Jolla beach.

This rocky place is a popular spot where people come to see sunset – I think it could be kind of landmark "let's walk until those stones and then we go back". Also, stones make convenient place to seat and enjoy sunset, few feet higher than sea level.
Some people come here to explore the ocean ecosystem with small water creatures like crabs, sea anemones, snails, which hide in tidepools on these rocks. One example of those interesting animals you can see in the left corner – beautiful, orange starfish.

Hello Agnieszka. What a great shot, with your title making me look closely to find the starfish, hiding from those people. Very lovely lighting in this photo, and great sharp detail. Superb composition with the starfish in one corner and the distant headland in the opposite corner. Perhaps not quite enough space above the heads of the people, but not important. Wonderful shot.

Bardzo ladnie!
Piekny widoczek i interesujaca kompozycja. Dobre kolorki i jakosc zdjecia tez jest bardzo dobra. No i ta przyroda...

Hahaha, that is humour!! With its legs pointing to the left down corner it just feels like the starfish is running away for the tourists passing by above. Very funny!! :-)
