Photographer’s Note
La Jolla Cove is teeming with wildlife. I remember doing a surface swim back to shore after a strenuous dive at the Cove and watching seals swimming alongside my dive buddies, and pelicans plunging from midair into the water for their breakfast. Enjoying nature along with animals made me feel... so much more in touch with creation. LOL.
The seagull in the picture is apparently not a match to the flock of pelicans while vying for a spot in the sun.
Tweaked contrast/brightness/sharpness using iPhoto and GIMP.

Hi Seb,
Nice composition and great title to match. Sharp zoom shot, as well, the polarizer helped with the contrast and color.
I imagine the temptation was great to shoot that beautiful beach area there in La Jolla - this one shows you have a great eye.
Well seen!

Hola Seb Ku . . . . . . :
Welcome and congratulations for your incorporation in TE,
I think that you have obtained an interesting framing of
the birds resting and the pens being cleaned in the rock.
The color and the light are well ...........
- perhaps there is an excess of definition in the PP.
Un saludo amigo y hasta pronto.
