Photographer’s Note
I posted this picture earlier on TE and got a mixed response with some suggestions on how to fix the photo in photoshop-- align horizon, bump up the contrast a bit, dodge a tad on the surfer, etc. So, I've done a little work to it and want a second opinion from the TE public. What do y'all think?

Hi Paul!
Surfing half moon bay!!! There is a spot in this bay called Maverick, it's one the biggest waves in the world!!! Mark Foo, one of the best big waves surfers died there... Wasn't quite this big the day you were there...
Good idea to introduce the board in the foreground, but I think that there could be a bit more action than a guy wading with his board in the hand in the distance... When I think of surfing and half moon bay, I see surfers on giant waves looking like ants on matches ;-)
Appart from that, I like the bluish tones of your photo, and the contrast is good too! And, horizon's straight!!!
Anyway, I'm harsh, it's a nice "surf-culture" shot!
