Photographer’s Note
It's funny how everything is black and white when you disagree with someone... As I was walking through Woodward Park, I saw a bench that had a couple of Starbuck's cups on them. Someone had apparently taken some coffee to enjoy on a foggy day at the park. Honestly, I don't remember if the cups were spaced apart when I found them, or if they were next to each other.
My goal was to set up a disagreement between the two cups, that had the foreground cup turning it's back on the other one and that also highlighted the distance bewteen the two of them. I shot this in color, but decided on b&w. I might post the color one later as a workshop.

Hi there,
There's something really simplistic, but very real about this image. Whether it's the cups that have had a disagreement or their long since departed owners, but for a pre-prepared photograph (which I freely admit I'm not a great fan of), there's an element that really draws me in.
I agree that monochrome is definitely the way to go with the shot and the framing and composition work really well.
Very nice.

Hola Brian
saludos.
