Photographer’s Note
The San Joaquin Valley of Central California was once covered by an inland sea and later a desert. It is now some of the most fertile farmland in the world. On the outskirts of Fresno on the east side of the valley there are beautiful country roads that wind up into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Valley oaks dot the country side and sometimes you see one that wants to be in a picture.

This picture caught my interest because of the colors and the tree. Very nice.

The lighting is just right, perfect image. Colors are rich, sky is helpful, and the tree is positioned well. Trees are beautiful and you got a fine one here, Kevin!
