Photographers Note
Driving out last weekend, I took a break in this vineyard. I believe that the grapes are table grape or raisin grape. However, I dont see anyone in the neighborhood I could ask. However, this grape field is not far away from the Sun-Maid production factory.
The black tube in the bottom are dripping water to the root of the grapevine. It was a hot and sunny day last Saturday.
I have some hard time to compress this image to fit the 200K limit. The quality may be compromised.

Hi Wes,
I don't think I've ever seen such a lush shot of grape vines. Your POV really gives one the feeling of enjoying the cool shade on a hot day. Your use of the polorizer enhances the feeling of coolness. Your photo shows that the reputation of grape arbors is well deserved; just lovely!! Pat

Hey Wes
welcome back. Nice and cool image from your trip, huh.
Nicely captured with cool perspective job. The lush of green leaves surrounding the tree with the grapes hanging by the branches are well executed. Sharpness and clarity is goob, my friend.
Cheeers and good day.

Nice shot Wes.
Your POV is very good, interesting to get a shot under the trees with low light but you got great details and nice colors. I think you did a good work because with my D70 usually the picture appears dark and have to fix it.
Well done , TFS.

i like it, we loose the real size of the plants and thy become giant, the only grapes being their normal size reference.
Perspectives are well made and also the whole quality is good;
I like it

Hi Wes
The image is still very impresive, we can see still the details, I feel the aromas from the plants. The perspective is very good, it gives a very good depth.

I don't detect any problems with the high compression; it's usually more apparent on plain areas, although with lots of leaves and flowers etc. some people accuse you of over-sharpening. I love the low POV and how it has made these vines appear larger than they probably are.

Hi Wes - no problems with the image quality on my screen, it's sharp, clear & free of any jpeg artifacts.
Your viewpoint here is very good, not only because of the view we get of the vines, but also because the light outside seems to be very harsh, so you've been able to take advantage of the shade here. Great use of the lines here, the vines & the water pipes.

Wes very nice perspective from underneath the vines. Contrary to your comment I see good quality in this image. Although I have not seen the original I too can share in the same dilemma of maintaining image quality. Excellent details in the shadows too. Thanks for sharing Wes!

Hi Wes
A great perspective. I like the detail with all the grapes hanging down. The whole forest of vines is impressive and I like the way you have filled the whole picture with them. Good exposure, colour and focus. Well done.

Hi Wes, This is a composition which feels very relaxing and cooling to see on TE. Clarity and colours are good. Grapes look to be doing very well. We have a huge oversupply/glut of grapes here so the price for quality wines is at an all time low, and all winer-lovers are in seventh heaven, at least for a few more years. Well portrayed. Murray.
