Photographer’s Note
Each September, Kearney Park in Fresno, California hosts one of the nation's largest reenactments of the American Civil War.
This picture represents Confederate artillery at the reenactment of the battle of Spotsylvania. There were about 20 cannon in this line firing in succession beginning from the one closest to me.

Great image, the smoke gives the image a sense of atmosphere, the black and white takes us back to the times of old.

This is a fine capture Kevin, nicely composed with the foreground element to one side and the receding elements diminishing in the smoke. Black and white was a great choice, though you might have used a sepia filter and a dash of grain to give it a feeling of greater age. In fact, I did a workshop just to experiment with these ideas. I appreciate that such treatment is very much a matter of taste and may not suit you preferences, but check it out. This is excellent work Kevin. Welcome to TE!
