Photographer’s Note
This is a railroad bridge over the southern end of the San Francisco Bay. It's just to the south of the Dunbarton bridge, shown here--it's the big bridge in the distance-- and here.
It looks like it swings open and closed to let ships through but i don't know that for sure. The foreground water is a salt pond.

Hello Tom,
Well composed and nice color tone!
And, it's effective about a bird arranging right/low.
When i saw the thumbnail, i thought an artistic work more than architecure.
And, i tried an approch to deepen artistic side more as workshop.
I'm sorry to have changed original image just as painting, and i hope that you don't mind.

There is no more train traffic between Newark and the west bay. This bridge has been open since the early 1980's.
