Photographer’s Note
This is an oil vessel on the coast of Los Angeles near the LAX airport. droping off oil in El Segundo refinery. used a digital camera to try and do some shadowing. i waited many days for the right clouds and clear evening. please tell me what you think good or bad. :)

Tony, I like this shot. I have told you before that you have a good eye for photo's. This one has nice colors (both the ocean and sky have nice hues to them). I think that the limitations of your camera hurt this shot a little. The photo isn't as sharp as I would like. If you have some photo editing software, try sharpening the image. What is more likely is the that your camera doesn't record enough pixels. In this shot, I would have liked it if the framing would have been wider. I gave you a workshop where I showed this idea. Ideally, sections of the sky and ocean would not be cut out to create this effect.
Nice shot, keep it up. I look forward seeing more of your additions to TrekEarth.
