Teresa,
Welcome to TE. The picture has a lot of potential if it was taken with a decent camera. Using a camera phone just ruined it but it's understandable that it was all you had at the time. The picture is very grainy, lacking color, depth, contrast, composition and you get the jist of it.
Good job trying though.
