Photographer’s Note

The "Coaster" along the San Diego, California, County Coast at Del Mar. I waited this a.m. on the east side of the track at Wave Crest Resort to catch the Coaster on the Del Mar bluffs above the Pacific Ocean, so my side of this commuter train would be well lighted. The horn, bell, and rumble of the heavy commuter train locomotive announces it's arrival.

Hi Carl,

sometimes you get a reward when taking some time for waiting the right moment to get such a picture. The point of view chosen makes the green of the landscape contrast with the blue of the ocean and the sky. The movement and colors of the train makes the scene more lively.
