Catch That Wave! Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California. It's a giant wave made out of sand and the "surfers" are cows. I thought this was a very creative and interesting subject. It's certainly not something you see every day.

Hello Cheryl,
This is definitely a unique sculpture! I wonder how they made those cows near the top without leaving imprints of feet and hands in the sand! In my opinion, this photo has nice sharpness and color, but there is a bit too much "going on" that detracts from the details of the sand. The shadows, and the car that is creeping into the lower right corner, are pulling my eyes from the main subject. Thanks for sharing this scene, and keep shooting! :-)
