Coronado Boathouse 1887, a photo from California, West

Photographer's Note

Carlo62 has asked me to post some pictures from where I live in San Diego and here I am, posting the first of the many pictures that I have from my city and the States in general.
The Coronado Boathouse 1887 is a landmark building built back in 1887, one year before the construction of the famous and world reknown Hotel Del Coronado.
The construction of the Boathouse was used as a model and as a training site for all construction workers to hone their skills before they start building the original Hotel Del Coronado.That is why there so many similarities between the two buildings.

Today, the Coronado Boathouse 1887 is a fine seafood restaurant with intimate and friendly atmosphere, great food and panoramic views to the marina.

το Coronado Boathouse δείχνει υπέροχο συνεπικουρούμενο και το άπλετο φως της ημέρας που το κάνει ακόμα πιό εντυπωσιακό..Το κόκκινο της σκεπής όπως και το αρχιτεκτονικό του στυλ είναι εντυπωσιακά με αποτέλεσμα την αναβάθμιση του όλου σκηνικού.

Hi Eleni, So you live in California? I didn't know it. Nice boathouse in striking red color. 1887 - for the States it is very old building. Nice composition with some flowers in foreground. Pleasant holiday atmosphere, and it is just before New Year.

Questa architettura è davvero originale, molto belli anche i colori che contrastano benissimo con il cielo e l'acqua.

An impressive red wooden-house built on water's, Eleni, and fine view of the marina over there.
One question is a puzzle for me: why cropped the picture and not fully showing this edifice? It doe's have an overwhelming and unique structure.
Anyway, combination of the colors and light management work well in this photo.

Ciao Eleni,
hai trovato un soggetto molto originale per la forma e per il colore, che, oltretutto ben si amalgama con il paesaggio circostante.
Ne è nato un bel conytrasto di forme e di colore che rende gradevole la foto.
Ben diverso dalle visioni della Grecia che fin qui ci hai offerto, ma anche molto caratteristico ed efficace.

Καλά έκανες και έβαλες φωτογραφίες από το μέρος που μένεις. Το μέρος είναι υπέροχο και ελπίζω στο απώτερο μέλλον να επισκεφτώ την Αμερική. Το σπίτι που φτάνει μέσα στην θάλασσα θα έχει εντυπωσιακή θέα και όλη η ατμόσφαιρα είναι υπέροχη.

ελπίζω να έχεις καλά νέα για τον υπολογιστή σου! Εδώ βλέπουμε μια πολύ καλή και ενδιαφέρουσα σύνθεση που μας καθοδηγεί να παρατηρήσουμε τα χαρακτηριστικά της αρχιτεκτονικής καθώς και τη σχέση του κτηρίου με τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο. Η μακριά διαγώνιος της στέγης είναι θαυμάσια τονισμένη από το στενό καδράρισμα. Η ένταση των χρωμάτων και των αντιθέσεων δίνει έναν πολύ ξεχωριστό και ελκυστικό χαρακτήρα στην εικόνα. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!
