Photographer’s Note
The place is Mt. Diablo, 35 miles east of San Francisco. It is said that this peak, just 3900 feet tall, can have one of the furthest views of any mountain, due to its location. There are many structures on top of the peak. This is one of them.
Crop, curves, selenium quadtone.

Very fine black and white image Wei. I like this. It is as we discussed yesterday, an excellent capture of an ordinary scene. Details and tonal range are fine. The composition might have been improved if you had been able to elevate your point of view slightly so that more of the distant hill would appear above the stone work adjacent to the chimney. The ridge line gets a bit lost as it approaches the building. But that is a minor quibble. The image is first rate work. Thanks for sharing.
