Photographer’s Note
Taken inside the Mendocino National Forest Sevice Genetic Research Center in Chico. This is one of the many creeks run through Chico. It was a day out with my new camera and did some experiment with the shutter speed.

Hi Pranab,
Hmmm...Your experiment does not really work out on the shutter speed here but I appreciate the composition of you picture. The failure of creating a soft tone over the flow is mainly due to the current and obstruction of the river. Maybe you can add this picture to my themes on "Waterfalls & rivers". I surely believe your skill is good and most of the time the environment does not allowed us to show our talent.

Hi Pranab,
Small white flowers or leaves are giving good effect. The colour of water is very different and looking good. Carry on experimenting with the new DSLR. I think you should also try RAW format and then PP. I am posting my experiment with the image. I wanted to see how if cropped.
Thanks for sharing my friend.

Merhaba Pranab, my friend...
It's a perfect point of view and wonderful perspective, indeed... The light, the tones of the green and blue, the details and the clarity are also perfect...

Hello Pranab,
Spring is putting its mark in many ways!
The creek flowing full of water is one, and the green is never greener than in spring...
Good details in this fine forest landscape!

Dear Pranab
Looks like you've used slow shutter speed which gives the flowing water the silken touch. Maybe providing exif data would help, if I am wrong. But the compo is good with the tunnel effect created by the trees on either side

Hi Pranab. Yes, I've been away for a few days. I can see what Adam is getting at in his comment, and the workshop is interesting if a little high in contrast, but the composition is very good, showing the stream wending its curvy way through the forest. This creates a strong sense of depth and perspective in this shot.

Andrew

Hi Pranab,
What a lovely scene you've captured. Your shutter speed gave you a soft blur without overdoing it. The flowering trees stretching over the water, the small blue flowers on the grassy banks and the light angling through the trees are all lovely.
Like Rakeesh, I thought the top could be cropped a bit, but I think he took too much off and I don't like his color enhancements, so I did a WS as well.

Hello Pranab
The flow of the river creates a dynamism to your compo with good perspective along it. I like the arch naturally made by the trees, the white flowers and the luminosity.
Have a nice day

Hi Pranab.
Interesting picture with a good composition and exposure. Maybe, the main problem is the oversharpness.
Anyway, thanks for sharing.
