Photographer’s Note

Continuing on my mood series.
Saturday morning farmers market in Chico. Rain or shine the avid shoppers are there for organic food and also for some colors. I stole this moment of one such shopper picking her color.
Sorry about the poor light condition.
Ps: my new Fuji finepix a700 is here but did not get a chance to test drive it for TE yet. Few more photos then I should be able to show them to you.

An everyday situation well framed!
I like the composition and the casual scenery, also I notice autumn is well established on the West Coast...
Good colours and pleasant sharpness, and your new toy will probably do even better!

Hi Pranab,
I was just thinking of how well you were doing with a broken camera when I opened the photo and I read your great news!! I couldn't resist fiddleing with this shot even though I told myself that with you having a new camera it was a futile exercise. I don't even have any WS left bur I found that decreasing the brightness (-26) and increasing the contrast (+34) really put a lot of zing in colors without loosing that autumn feeling. Like Pablo, I found the framing and the subject so well done, I just couldn't keep my fingers off it :-)

It's a beautiful moment and shot... The flowers's colors and their contrast between the autumn tones are wonderful... Also wonderful point of view and perspective...

Yes, a good scene. You're close to the woman, but she doesn't mind: and that's good.
Only I would prefer a wider view.
