Photographer’s Note
One of the many places in Chico which helps the economic growth of this community is Chico State University, California. A strong student body of nearly 60,000 adds quite an impact in our community. Chico State University is also famous for its programs such as arts, music and computer technology, agriculture et.
This building belongs to the art department.
I just found some information from one of my martial art students who was the chairperson of the art deapartment at that time, Richard Hornaday, an acclaimed artist himself, about this painting. About 25 years earlier a student (now nationally acclaimed) name John Pugh took up this project, and he still comes back every once in a while to retouch this old painting.

Hi, Pranab.
Interesting composition! Very inusual.
I appreciate your field of view. Very nice sky too. You did a good job while handling the light. The trees on the foreground are pretty impressive too... They look like almost artifical... TFS. Congratulations.
Greetings from Brazil

Hello Pranab,
Different shot presented today, but still a nice one. I like the different textures we see on the picture, and the painting is really amazing. Good title choice, fits perfectly this photo.
Congratulations.

Hola Pranab.
Interesting. Perhaps a more frontal view could work even better.
Anyway, good and interesting idea.

Nice painting, good building and great artwork. The foreground trees are also good.
A nice idea too. All colleges should follow or at least allow their students (only Fine Arts deptt.) to make these type of artwork.
thanks for sharing.
