Photographer’s Note

Weather report said it is suppose to sunny for next 5 days here in Northern California after some rainy days, so today I grabbed my camera and headed for one of my favorite spots in Chico, Bidwell Park.
Bidwell Park is full of old trees and this one in particular is my most favorite. I was going to spend some time there but somebody else claimed that spot before me so I just thought for a moment and left, and before I left I snapped this photo.

I remember seeing a movie called (I think) 'The Tree' where the spirit of a very old tree tries to take over a baby in the guise of its nanny. The image appears to be straight out of that movie. So does the woman.
I like the colour and the composition.

Well seen this time. Only I would ask one think. Has you done some kind of postprocessing? The colours seems have something strange... has you saturated the colours?

Wow! Excellent work with blue all over! It really stands out, and I love pictures with lots of Blue, like the sky, sea, mountains. Great shot. the lonely lady with the blue dress is an added +.

Hi Pranab, superb compo and colors (esp. the amazing waters) in this shot! The girl was somewhat distracting to me in the beginning, but her presence greatly enhances the mood. Cheers! Daniel
