This is Gibson beach that is hidden away by the coast line in Point Lobos, in central California. A steep staircase takes you down to the beach.

Very beautiful photo with great contrasts between the sand and the dark trees, vivid colors and framed by a Master:)
I might have played a bit either with a polarizer filter or with Photoshop to get some more color for the water surface.
