Photographer’s Note
I took an early Autumn walk on seaweed clad Cambria Beach. As you can see, I had the whole beach to myself except for the Sea Gulls; lots of them.

Wow, such a nice capture of this autumn scene! The colours are nice and soft and clarity is perfect. Was the sun actually hidden by a cloud or how did this effect occur? The framing you have chosen looks great!

Hello Rob,
The light is magic ! The taking off of the sea gulls is really impressive.

Hi Rob,
the lighting and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Did you shout to make them fly? Just a pity that the horizon isn't level...
Greetings,
Andreas

Bonjour Rob
J'aime beaucoup ta photo la composition avec les oiseaux qui s'envolent est magnifique, l'horizon est un peu centré mais le reste est trés bien!
Bravo

Very intresting photo, I love the colours the picture without all the birds would be great on it's own, but the birds add life to it and a bit of intrest aswell.. it's a great shot well timed... very nicely done.

Hi Rob, nicely thought out comp. I like how you have captured the seagulls almost swarming towards you. The framing is brilliant for this scene which almost looks more like a postcard. The mix and depth of colour add to your overall mood with emphasises also on the kelp (looks like kelp i think). The tilt in the horizon is not as noticeable.
Well done and tfsvm.

Hi Rob,
impressive shot with its pleasant "natural dynamism". I love this kind of golden hours captures, that usually come out calm and peaceful while in this case it turns out full of life. Great job. Dario
