Photographer’s Note
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, located in the White Mountains of California, is home to the oldest known living trees on earth, the Great Basin Bristlecone Pine Pinus longaeva. The oldest tree, nicknamed "Methuselah", is more than 4,750 years old, and is not marked to ensure added protection from vandals. The grove lies in the Inyo National Forest, between 3,000-3,300 m (10,000-11,000 feet) above sea level.

Hi Jurgita,
Beautiful shot with a nice composition and perspective. I like white puffy clouds a lot, of course also these strange shape trees. I'm suprised it doesn't have more comment despite a really good shot.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

More than 4000 years...
And us, in a few minutes we have the power to make them disappear.
Bravo for your photo, and comment. We can see the harsh weather in the photo, beating sun and transparent and dry atmosphere. Nature becomes slow in time...
In my country there are some species of Juniperus that live more than 1000 years, a wonderful tree.
(sorry, my english... horrible)
Un cordial saludo
Álvaro
