Photographer’s Note
I thought the muddy murkiness would add a little more for the eye to ponder on and the cold snow gives the mud a warm feeling. I wore the mud for half the morning.
Anything that would make this better please do tell.
Thanks

Great DOF, you chose the best F-stop for that! The composition and lighting are also excellent!
No improvements needed, in my opinion.

Indeed, a very pretty photograph, particularly with the sunlight on the far mountains.
Overall a nice photo, and I like the frost on the dead wood.

very beautuful perspective. I like the log in foreground, which gives the sense of depth. The light on the mountains is perfect

I can't see a thing that would makes this super shot any better Steve .. you have all the elements in all the right places .. great light on the distant mountains and your tilt down perspective is spot on along with exposure .. hang this one Steve ..

Hi Steve! Nice work, very little to improve this. The only thing I can think of is if there were a little more space between the far edge of the tree and the beginning of the mountain slopes in the distance, it might convey more depth. I'm not sure how you could done, unless perhaps you had a little step ladder with you :)
Well done!

A mixture amazing between the mud and the snow, and this dynamics of the trunk which brings us far, very far towards these enlightened mountains a photo with a fabulous perspective. There, I admit that I like!!

Hi Steve. This dead wood seems to be remonstrating a sit looks like some hybrid creature. The details are superb and the distant mountains lit by the sun, yet wrapped by a dark cloud, are enchanting. Stark but beautiful. regards. Klaudio.
