Photographer’s Note

A nice walk through a campground lead me to this winter/fall scene. One unfortunate thing was I had a hard time finding trees that did not have names carved into them.

Great picture in whitch the mix of the yellow leaves fit very well with the white snow. Both colors are not easy to see in the nature.

Hi Steve,
excellent composition, the combination of the yellow leaves and the first snow is not easy to find, and all in back light makes up a very appealing result. Thanks for sharing.

The delicate, snow-covered features really stand out. Your minimalist composition is fantastic. Contrast looks great ands well as the color.

Wonderfull shot.. The atmosphere is very surprising to see birches, under the snow, which guarded their leaves!!!
With this sun of face it is difficult not to make of the clear excess and you arrived there.
I like very much this image, sweet and peaceful, with this magnificent blue sky which we guess between leaves

These white aspens are a photographers dream. I keep looking at the birch trees that I see in New Enlgand hoping for a good photo op like this. Also one on my radar. Nice job with the requisite star pattern of the sun.
