Photographer’s Note

More than 6 meters of snow is still on the ground in the High Sierra. The tallest peak is Mt. Tom (4161m) which is often challenged by skiers and snowboarders who climb for hours to try and survive its treacherous slopes and chutes.

Below the snow line is a place called Paradise which slopes down to the town of Bishop
