Photographer’s Note
I took this on the PCH #1 just prior to reaching Big Sur, CA. It was foggy, a bit cool, and quiet. The area and atmosphere just screamed to be photographed. It was a relaxing moment being able to hear the surf crashing on the cliff wall 100's of feet below but unseen due to the wall of fog. Just a beautiful place and so worth the extra driving.

Hello, Chris, Lovely composition with the ribbon of road winding into the mist and the shapely overhanging tree. Black and white is an excellent choice, especially for the striking contrasts it provides.

Very nice curve of the road, creating a beginning of a diagonal in the picture.
